Information I Collect:
To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you contact me directly. I do not collect or have access to your financial information which is handled exclusively between you and either Etsy's secure payment processor or PayPal.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It:
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
- As needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
- When you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

Information Sharing and Disclosure:
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
- Etsy: I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Service providers: I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies i.e. USPS. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services i.e. your postal address.
- Compliance with laws: I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:
(a) respond to legal process or to government requests;
(b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies;

Data Retention:
I retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. Otherwise, I retain your name, address and date of sale for my personal record of an artwork's provenance which helps authenticate the art after I am deceased.
Your Rights:
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
- Access: You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
- Change, restrict, delete: You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
- Object: You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
- Complain: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

****SHIPPING ADDRESS****
Each order is sent to the shipping address on file when placing the order; please make sure this information is accurate. Any packages returned due to an incorrect shipping address (that was not communicated and confirmed in advance) will only be re-shipped at the buyer's expense. Packages returned due to incorrect address will be refunded for the item price only.
****SHIPPER SHOWS ORDER NOT DELIVERED****
For orders that have not been delivered, we must wait 21 days to file a claim. We will advise you if any action is required on your part to complete the insurance claim process. A refund for the lost order can not occur until the insurance payment is issued.
****PAYMENT****
If I have not received payment within 5 days, I will have to cancel the sale, unless I have heard from the buyer during that time with extenuating circumstances
***SHIPPER SHOWS ORDER DELIVERED BUT ORDER NOT RECEIVED***
We ship to the address you supply and cannot be responsible for stolen packages.
****ORDER DAMAGED IN SHIPPING****
Please send us a message within 2 days with photos showing the damage to the item, which is necessary for the insurance claim. We will notify you if additional action is needed, which could include signing an online affidavit certifying the situation. Please note that a refund cannot be issued until claim is paid.
****RETURNS****
We want you to be happy with your purchase, if for any reason you are not, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order to request the item(s) to be returned. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. We advise using a shipping method that will provide a tracking number to verify the return. We will refund the cost of the item, less the shipping charge, upon receipt, in original condition with no damage. If an item is returned damaged, a refund will not be provided; because of this, we recommend purchasing insurance in case the item is damaged during shipping.
The rule of thumb is that a Hat Box should be 1-2 inches larger in diameter than the widest point of the brim of the hat. It should also be at least 1/2 inch taller than the highest point of the hat.
